Grant Funding For Home Owners

We thought we’d make you aware of the following changes that have been made to Scottish Government Funding for Home Owners

The Government has introduced a grant that is available to home owners. In order to get the grant your EPC needs to show the recommendation for improvement and they will give you 75% of the total job cost up to £7500 (£9000 if property is classed as off gas grid/rural, which we can check for you)

Basic Terms:

• EPC must show the recommendation for improvement
• Home owners only
• Government will give grant of 75% of job cost up the £7500 (£9000.00 for rural/off gas)
• If works are going to cost more than grant amount then the interest free loan can be used to spread the cost of additional funding
